Security
Officers, by the nature of their employment,
work remotely from their employer and in
most instances unsocial hours. John Herring,
the company’s Chief Executive in
October 1996, introduced Officer of the
Month to all the company’s employees
and clients.
It was set up to recognise monthly deeds
or acts performed by Security Officers
in the course of their duties. Such deeds
could be reported not only through the
management structure but importantly
from the company’s clients. Such
employees mentioned in despatches attend
an informal lunch at the head office,
in the company of their client, and are
presented with a certificate from the
Managing Director in the presence of
the head office staff.

recognises our gratitude to the front
line and shows our clients that we care
for our staff” says John Herring,
Chief Executive.
