We are delighted to recognise the outstanding service that Lamin Darboe provides to Oxford Brookes University. Lamin works at one the Halls of Residence where he is responsible for security throughout the night and ensuring students adhere to local rules. He has developed a true understanding of how to interact with peronnel on the site and created an effective relationship with the students gaining both their trust and respect.
Lamin is highly thought of by both the University and our management and it with great pleasure we are able to recognise his achievements
Chrissy Knight, Hall Manager made the following comments regarding Lamin:
"Lamin’s award ‘Officer of the Month’ is fully deserved, he has a calm approach to his work and a good balance when dealing with the Students and visitors to the Hall.
Students regularly praise Lamin saying how good he is but they all know that he has his limits and will not tolerate bad behaviour. We can rest assured that Lamin will be vigilant and keep the site safe and secure.
Lamin will always go that extra mile doing over and above what is expected of him, we are proud to have him as part of the Crescent Hall ‘team’"
