The auditor arrived on site at 10:25 posing as a BT Engineer and explained that this was an impromptu visit to the BT Frame Room.
Having obtained a visitors badge from reception the auditor asked to use the toilet. Pete Butcher who was on duty, escorted the auditor to the toilet and waited outside as this was in the restricted area of the site. It was clear that from returning to the reception area, Pete Butcher was not going to allow the auditor to go anywhere on the site unaccompanied.
