Rup Bahader Gurung was nominated for the very professional and effective manner in which he dealt with an incident at one of our Unipart assignments in Nuneaton. Rup's calm manner, refusal to bow to pressure and his tenacity in seeking out evidence was truly outstanding and has won praise from our client.
Our Client made the following comments: Rups action was a super example of quick thinking and adding value to the role of contracted security. Managers often lose sight of the everyday job being done by Security personnel and it's only when something happens like this that the real job is acknowledged.
Rup also qualified as a finalist in the TWAA officer of the year award 2006 being one of 13 officers nominated for truly oustanding achievements. Over 60 nominations for the award were made over the year with a winner presented each month so you can judge from this the quality of the service being provided to the Unipart Group by Risk Management officers across all of our sites.
