During the month of July who can forget the torrential rain the UK experienced and the flooding that followed. Two of our security officers were working on a site in an area of the country experienced extensive flooding. The site was under water on the evening in question and Steve and Bruce were on duty. They took it upon themselves to try and save some of the products stored at the location in the knowledge that no other staff would be on site that night as all shifts had been cancelled. They started opening doors to release water and blocking other doors to direct water away from areas that would have been devastated by stoock loss. A variety of other preventative actions were completed in water that was continuously rising. Our client is particularly grateful for the actions of Steve and Bruce and had no hesitation in nominating each of them for the July Officer of the Month.
